The only way i have seen folks override the idle shut down on a 2007 or later truck is to install a pto switch. Sometimes customers do not want idle up and we have to change parameters to take it out. To bypass it you have to sit and wait 4 mins 30 secs wait for a light to start flashing on the dash and tap the throttle. Ive tried to bypass it by bumping up the throttle with the cruise control which does work but even then 5 mins later itll shut down.
