2 black and 2 white wires in ceiling box. The more lightbulbs the more wires. Assuming you have 2 wall switches in the room the two whites go together with the white on the fan. The other set of blackwhite wires in the ceiling box is used to send power through the wall switch from the hotblack wire and back to the light. The blue controls the fan separate ie. Its own switch from the fan. The white wire is your neutral wire the copper wire is the grounded wire and the black wire powers the fan.
Take your white that is in the same cable as your always hot black and wire nut it with your other white. However if you need to rewire a light switch or a plug socket you may occasionally come across two black wires. Black means hot white signifies neutral and green indicates ground.
