Posted september 5 2015 original poster. Im told windows works just fine on the same mac hardware. Make sure this fits by entering your model number. For example a mini displayport to dvi adapter cant be connected to a dvi to hdmi adapter. Confirm the displayport dp configuration of the display if your system supports dp version 12 the monitor can display the resolution of 3840x2160 at 60hz. Refer to the issue 309 ive tested and can confirm it works only 30hz refresh rate though.
