Putting on a new timing belt if i line up all the belt alignment marks on the belt with those on the crank and cam sprokets either the right or left side appears to read more. How am i supposed to get them lined up to put the timing belt back on if i cant.

As long as you set the timing marks on the sprockets relative to the engine block and the timing marks on the belt relative to the sprockets correctly you are fine.
