Duramax cruise control not working. Hey guys all of a sudden my cruise control just stopped working. I tried to turn on the curise control and the green light on the dash did not turn on nor did it engage when i tried to set a speed. Joined nov 18 2013 66 posts. Reply to this topic. I have read through a lot of threads on here and did everything i read with no results. I do not have the ability to type that much or the knowledge to copy and paste the page but a dealer should be able to print of the page it is page 9 27. 2007 2014 gmc chevy cracked dash fix for under 200 duration. Its 2008 chevy 2500 ltz duraalli with 3100 miles aprox. The truck runs great. Backup lights and shift selection indicator are working fine. I replaced the break switch replaced the blinkercruise control switch. The little green cruise control light wont turn on or anything.
And yes it was over 30 mph it was trying to set to speed. Any help would be wonderful. Go have it scan for codes even if the cel is not on. Not sure but if there is a code it may not work. I use cruise control a lot and i need to fix this issue. 73 157 posts.
