Aba Mini S40 W4 Breeze Hose Clamps
5 16 vs 3 8 hose. But the only supplier i can find makes them in 14od and 38od sizing and skips over the 516 8mm size that i need. On my mustang project the fuel line that runs from the tank to the fuel pump is 516. You can get it clear red or blue. The an numbers refer to the tubing od in sixteenths of an inch. Would you think twice about jamming the 516 hose onto the 38 barbed hose adapter. 3an hose has the same id as a 316 tube.
38 inch is the thickest diameter hose youll see around. I went 516 in red just so its easier to tell the gas lines from the liquid lines when its all stuffed into the keezer. The 34 hose is going to deliver water at a slightly higher rate as it has a bigger surface area. For example 8an hose has the same id as a 12 nominal tube 816 12. Being a little smaller than the 38 hose it works great for little kicker motors and sailboat outboard engines. This could be better if you are attaching tools to the end of the hose that may get destroyed by high water pressure.
I have an inline fuel filter near the aux tank with a 38 fitting. Think of criss flow perfect down backside perfect to good left and straight away down then backside left to good perfect and straight away down 5sixteen 38 8x5 16x3 forty forty 8 forty 8 is. Both 58 and 34 inch hoses come in various lengths. 516 inch is not used as much as the other 2.

Being smaller allows it to go easily into a smaller rigging tube depending on the application. Theyre actually manufactured to army navy or an sizing so an 5 would be the 516 size and an 6 would be the 38. For a small homebrew setup either should work fine. Some places refer to the 516 as gas hose. 516 inch kinda gets left out.
The 58 hose will reduce water pressure more if you have really high pressure water supply. I have about a 1 gap at the tank end and about 10 to work with on the pump end.
